Answers to common questions about this coverage and
what it is like to work with Smitty Insurance.

Medicare Advantage is another way to receive Medicare benefits through a private plan and may include drug coverage and extra benefits. Medigap works with Original Medicare to help pay certain cost sharing; drug coverage is typically separate.

The answer depends on whether you are first becoming eligible, already enrolled, moving, losing other coverage or experiencing another qualifying situation. Initial, Open and Special Enrollment Periods apply differently across products.

Original Medicare generally does not cover most routine dental care or routine eye exams. Some Medicare Advantage plans may offer additional benefits, but coverage, networks, limits and costs vary.

A Smitty representative first confirms location, timing and review goal, then explains required permissions and next steps before discussing available plans. The form does not enroll or change coverage.

Helpful starting information includes ZIP or county, Medicare status, Part A and Part B effective dates if available, preferred doctors, prescriptions, pharmacies, travel needs and budget priorities. Never enter a Medicare or Social Security number in the public form.
